Import survey parameters

Timestamp file conversion

  1. Start sbs_ffid_converter.exe on your computer, then select RT Clark EVR-2 and import shot log file (cf. In the field)

  2. Reset FFID starting at the wanted number (e.g. 1001), select Fill FFID to generate timestamp data, and click on Export TimeStamp File

    Warning

If multiple shots are at the same location (e.g. multiple stacks), FFID will not be incremented correctly. In that case you need to modify the output .sbs_ffid file manually or use a python notebook to generate the correct timestamp file.

  3. Select Preview Sp1 and Export Sp1 file

  4. Those two files are stored in C:\Data\Output. You can move them in a timestamp folder next to the nodes data downloaded previously (cf. Download data).

Import survey parameters

  1. In View -> Receivers, click on Create points from deployments (red flag with green arrow) to generate project station/line numbers.

  2. In View -> Survey Files, import the .SP1 file as a Source SP1 file type. Source stations should now appear as Planned in View -> Source.

    Warning

Make sure you select Source instead of Receiver (which is the default option)

  3. In View -> Sercel Files, click on Add Sercel Observer's log file and select .sbs_ffid file, then click on Create acquired shots from observer logs. Shots should now appear in View -> Acquired shots
